They include a changing physician workforce and shift from private practice to large group practice. This program will give participants a medical-legal overview of changes in the healthcare delivery system, their impact on the practice of medicine, and various strategies to meet these challenges.

Title: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Recertification Course

Overview: ACLS is a protocol for managing victims suffering from severe cardiac conditions and other medical challenges. Through ACLS training health professionals may develop the expertise and skills needed to use this life-saving process properly and safely. To qualify for ACLS training you must be a medical professional, such as a registered nurse or physician. Unlike BLS (Basic Life Support), which doesn’t require complex and extensive education and training, ACLS training and certification is often required of health care providers working in acute care settings and in emergency services. The majority of hospitals and emergency service facilities require that this certification be accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
