Purpose: To help plan continuing medical education activities and provide detailed review of all applications received from related organizations for joint sponsorship; to advise the full CME Committee on trends, concerns and requirements; and to assure that CMS activities and joint sponsorship programs are in full compliance with the Essentials and Standards for Commercial Support of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
