Resolutions Reference Committee

Purpose: To receive all resolutions from the Council so referred, to hold hearings regarding those resolutions and to report to the Council with recommendations.

Note to Resolutions Reference Committee Members:  Please review the two resolutions proposed by Dr. Samuel Schimel and then refer to the posted CMS/ISMS policies.   Dr. Kern asks for your comments on both resolutions, indicating whether the resolutions represent new policy.  If you feel they don’t, she asks that you offer edits and/or amendments that would meet the threshold  for "new policy.”

RESOLUTION 11-01:

The purpose of this forum is to encourage online discussion of Resolution 11-01 prior to the ISMS House of Delegates Meeting, scheduled for April 15-17, 2011.   Forum discussion will assist the sponsor in clarifying and strengthening the resolution as well as expediting debate during the House meeting.  All committee members are encouraged to use this section to share their opinions and offer editorial suggestions.
