A Doctor's Day Message

On the occasion of National Doctors Day, March 30, the Chicago Medical Society is deeply grateful to its physician heroes for their tireless efforts during this long pandemic year. Not only is this a national celebration but March 30 also is Chicago Medical Society Day, thanks to a Mayoral Proclamation that recognizes CMS physicians and the Medical Society for their public health achievements in the local community.

Physicians have always risen to new challenges and the past year has challenged the profession like never before. With courage and compassion, physicians have worked nonstop to keep patients and communities safe, often putting their own safety and health at risk, and that of their families. The work in clinics, hospitals and care facilities could not go on without the family of medicine guiding the way.

The Chicago Medical Society honors all physicians for their daily sacrifices.
